The 12D x 1.5mm High Cut Resistance Nylon 6 Flock Tow is a specialized engineering-grade flock fiber designed for demanding industrial applications. Each parameter represents a critical performance characteristic:
12D (12 Denier) – A relatively coarse fiber that provides high tensile strength, excellent abrasion resistance, and structural integrity under heavy mechanical stress. The thicker denier contributes to the fiber's ability to withstand cutting and shearing forces.
1.5mm Length – A very short cut length that creates a dense, uniform flocked surface. This length is ideal for applications requiring a low-profile, velvety texture while maintaining strong anchorage in adhesive substrates.
High Cut Resistance – The fiber is specifically engineered to resist cutting, shearing, and fraying under continuous mechanical friction or blade contact. This property is achieved through optimized polymer orientation, molecular weight control, and potentially special additives during Nylon 6 polymerization.
